Don Rivenes – Advisory Board Chair – Sierra Forest Legacy


Don is the Treasurer and Conservation Chair of Sierra Foothills Audubon Society representing Placer, Nevada and Yuba counties in land use concerns and forest projects. He also is coordinator of Nevada County Climate Action Now that promotes actions to reduce the impacts of climate change.


Barbara Rivenes – Forestry Committee Chair – MLC Chapter/Sierra Club


Barbara Rivenes serves as Project Chair of the Nevada County Fire Safe Council proposing and vetting various fuel reduction projects in accordance with SFL guidelines. Barbara is also the Vice President of the Sierra Nevada Group of the Sierra Club, and Ex-com member of the Mother Lode Chapter of the Sierra Club.


Charles Little – Fire Issues Chair, Forest Unlimited


Charles serves on the Board of Sonoma County’s Forest Unlimited and is the newsletter editor for ReLeaf, Petaluma. He works on improving Tree Protection Ordinances for both Petaluma and Sonoma County. He has been involved in fire issues and research since 1996.
